How do you approach the design process?
We take an intentional and honest approach, drawing inspiration from architecture, travel, nature, and art to create tailored, functional designs that meet each client’s specific needs.
What is the typical timeline for a project with you?
The design process is typically 2-8 months, depending on the size and scope of the project. Construction administration continues after the design is done to ensure design intent is clearly interpreted by the contractor and trades.
How much time and effort is needed from me, the client?
Bar Kay Design Co. makes it a goal to do the legwork and make the process enjoyable for our clients. You should plan on committing to an average of 2-5 meetings, depending on the scope and size of the project. Meetings may be online or in-person, depending on what is being reviewed.
